We’re excited to announce the unification of our affiliated banks, Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company and Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company, which are now unified under the new name Arrow Bank National Association, or Arrow Bank.

While you now see the Arrow Bank name on signage and other materials, everything else you love about us stays the same. That includes our team, our locations and our commitment to serving your financial needs. We’re still here, rooted in the community and dedicated to helping you achieve your financial goals.

FAQs

Why are the banks unifying under one name? Is the bank being sold?

No, the bank is not being sold and we remain a local, publicly traded company based in Glens Falls, N.Y. We believed the time was right to unify our two affiliated banks, Glens Falls National Bank and Saratoga National Bank, under one name — Arrow Bank.

The new name makes it clear that Glens Falls National and Saratoga National are now one bank working for you. Unifying our banks creates a more cohesive experience for our customers and allows us to streamline operations and enhance consistency in our offerings.

When will these branding updates happen?

Our legal name is now Arrow Bank National Association, and branch signage has been updated to the Arrow Bank name. Branding updates to our online platforms will be completed in mid 2025.

Where did the Arrow Bank name come from?

Arrow is an extension of our existing brand. We already describe our banks as “Part of the Arrow Family of Companies,” since Arrow Financial Corporation is our Glens Falls-based parent company. We simply aligned under that name.

What about my debit card?

Continue using your cards as normal. Whenever you’re due for a new card, your replacement card will have the Arrow Bank branding If you have a card with the Glens Falls National or Saratoga National branding, you can continue to use that card without any interruption.

Will my checks be changing?

Continue using your checks as normal. Whenever you’re due to order new checks, that new supply will have the Arrow Bank branding. If you have checks with the Glens Falls National or Saratoga National branding, you can continue to use those checks without any issues.

What will happen to my loan?

While our banks have changed names, nothing regarding your loan has changed. Please continue to make payments as you normally would.

Will the bank’s routing number change?

There are no changes to the bank’s routing number for the foreseeable future. Continue banking as you normally would.

Will my bank branch or account change?

All of our branches will remain open with normal business hours, and your accounts will not change. You’ll continue to receive the same services and support you always have.

Will there be any changes to the products/services I currently use?

You can continue banking as normal. As always, we’re focused on maintaining and enhancing the experiences you value. If there are any changes in the future, we’ll be sure to inform you.

What happens to the bank apps and online platforms?

Continue using the apps and any online platforms as you normally would. We are planning technology updates in mid-2025 and reach out with any relevant information.

What about FDIC coverage?

Arrow Bank is Member FDIC, meaning it is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government and each depositor is insured to at least $250,000.

If you hold any deposits at Saratoga National Bank, those deposits will continue to be insured until at least June 30, 2025. After June 30, 2025, or such later date as may be available by applicable law, any deposits from Saratoga National Bank will be added to any deposits you may hold at Glens Falls National Bank to determine FDIC coverage under Arrow Bank.

If you hold any Saratoga National Bank Certificates of Deposit (CDs), those will be insured separately until June 30, 2025, or until the next renewal date, whichever is later. In addition, if you have a CD that is renewed for the same term and amount during this transition period, the CD will continue to be insured separately until the next renewal date.
